Beyonce Sang Michelle Obama’s Favorite Songs On Her 50th Birthday Celebration

President Barack Obama gave every guest who attended the 50th birthday celebration of his wife, Michelle Obama something to go home with, amazing performance from John Legend and Beyonce, some of the biggest stars on the planet came together for this  all-out dance party like Jay Z, Al Roker, Magic Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson and Gayle King at the most recognizable mansion in the nation’s capital Saturday night. Indeed, Obama kept the details of the party secret, revealing very little about the event or even what he planned to give his wife.

Beyonce  indeed sing some of the first lady's favorite songs, and the party lasted until at least 2 a.m. “Not even the NSA knows that,” Obama told People magazine last week. He was just as vague with other reporters, saying simply, "It's going to be a rolling birthday weekend."   On Friday, he did a special tweet for Michelle. The gala for Mrs. Obama, who hit the mid-century mark on Friday, promised “Snacks & Sips & Dancing & Dessert,” according to a leaked invitation. Guests were encouraged to wear comfy shoes and eat before they arrived.

CNN reports :"Michelle Obama's invitations caused a little controversy last week when it was revealed they said only drinks and light snacks would be served. The food choices didn't appear to bother any of those who went. They mostly wanted to talk about how great the 50-year-old first lady looked, and how much in love President Obama is with his wife. Guests said Michelle Obama wore red and black, and looked stunning."
